Friday night we took Ben on his first camping trip. Its pretty sad that we haven't been camping yet this summer but the yard work has taken up most of our time. We drove up to the mountains and camped next to the Snake River, it was beautiful. I love living only an hour from the mountains.
Ben did pretty well. He loved playing in the dirt and we think that he only ate one bug. Here the boys were admiring the fire.
Saturday morning we woke up made breakfast and the boys decided they should head back to bed.
We even made it home in time for Jason to plant grass seed.

What fun! now that ben is an expert camper, we should go together sometime.
My kids won't be like that. Found camping that is. No matter how hard my mother and siblings try to make it otherwise. Though I can appreciate the napping.
This is some good napping. One of the best parts of camping (or anything else, for that matter) is a good nap.
