Ladybug hunting

We have an insane amount of ladybugs in our yard. If you sit down in the grass you will have three of four ladybugs crawling on you in a matter of minutes and if you lay on you stomach you can see the ladybugs hanging out of the tips of grass. So everyday Ben and I go hunt ladybugs. As you can see he is has figured out that he has to put his finger out in order for the ladybug to crawl onto his finger (look at how good our grass grew in too!).

Surprisingly he has only smashed two or three ladybugs to death (although he has mortally wounded a few more). He also ate two but I fished them out before he bit them so they survived.

On another note he now has two molars! Two!

I always loved it when the kids finally got molars. Of course they were a bit older than Ben. Are you sure he's not 2?

Wanda!! Wanda the ladybug. Your grass looks great! We don't have any ladybugs =( but we have tons and tons of grass hoppers. If we combined our yards it would be an entomologists dream.
